Donations in memory and honor of Jay can be mailed to
the Kathryn and Alan C. Greenberg Center for Skeletal
Dysplasias at the Johns Hopkins University. This Center
is dedicated to the medical care and education of persons
with skeletal dysplasias, and to the clinical and
laboratory investigation into these conditions. A fund
will be started in Jay's name and we will work with the
Center to determine how best to use the donations to honor
Jay and fulfill his wishes for research and clinical care
for individuals with complex medical needs. Donations can

Services for Jay Reed

Dear friends and family:
We appreciate your many messages of love and admiration for Jay. We had no idea of the number of lives he had touched and his influence for good. So many of you have written heartwarming words that we will guard dearly forever. Thank you Thank you. We are unable to express the great loss we feel at this time and yet rejoice in the admiration so many had for him. His many friends have commented over and over that he was their best friend. He truly loved life and he is sorely missed.

Services:
There will be a viewing Wednesday night February 20th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Hines-Rinaldi funeral home at 11800 NewHampshire Ave., Silver Spring MD 20904. The funeral services will be held at the LDS church at 500 Randolph Rd. Silver Spring, MD 20904, at 7:30pm on Thursday February 21, with a one hour viewing at the church prior to the services. We will take his body to Safford, Arizona for burial with a grave side service at the Artesia cemetery on Saturday February 23 at 2:00 pm. We hope to provide the name of a foundation where contributions can be given instead of flowers.
